FAQ & Information for Australian Hanson fans wishing to order MOE Issues ** MOE ordering has now closed. You can order previous issues of MOE (including the previously sold out MOE 2 & MOE 7) from the hanson.net store. Each magazine costs $5 US plus postage, and you can use either an International Money Order, or a Credit Card to pay. **

** A discounted price was offered for the purchase of MOE 12 or any previous
issues to our fan club. The ordering process is detailed below. For more information please contact us here at
fansfromoz@hotmail.com. MOE 12 ordering followed a similar process to that of the order we placed in December 2001. Orders were taken up until October 15th 2003. **There has been an overwhelming response since sending out our club email, announcing that Australian fans have the chance to order back issues of Hanson's MOE magazine. Many questions have been emailed to us asking about various aspects of obtaining these back issues, which we have managed to answer, most of them personally. For future reference we have developed this FAQ page for fans considering ordering MOE Issues through us and hope it covers most of your initial questions. Recently we received a letter from Hanson offering Australian Hanson fans the opportunity to order MOE 12 magazines. Hanson have offered a discount on the price of MOE issues if 25 or more magazine issues are ordered. The issues available for order are MOE 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. (Unfortunately Issues 2 & 7 have been sold out and are no longer obtainable through Hanson). You are able to order multiple of one issues of them if you wish. There is no minimum and no maximum. Firstly, *please* when ordering your MOE issues, remember the conversion rate (regardless of how you pay) from Australian to US dollars, especially to those considering purchasing 5+ or all MOE issues available. Unfortunately we are unable to list the price of MOE magazines. If you are interested in ordering MOE 12 or any back issues (excluding MOE 2 & 7) of MOE please contact us here at fansfromoz@hotmail.com for pricing information. Make sure to include your name and the state you live in. At the moment we are offering two options for payment: 1. By International Money Order available at Post Offices. These need to be made out to 'Hansonopoly' with the total cost of the number of magazines you want to order. Ensure that the International Money Order covers the cost of the MOE issues in US dollars. Additionally, a cost of $8.65 will be charged by Australia Post for the issue of an International Money order. For more information (for Australians) about International Money Orders to the USA head over to Australia Post Online or click here to take you directly there. 2. By Credit Card. A written authorisation (that includes cardholders name, card number, expiry date, card type and signature will be required) from the credit card holder authorising 'Hansonopoly' to charge your account for the MOE issues. (Those wishing to order MOE by credit card will be emailed an example of the letter necessary to authorise their credit card to be charged. We will send this out by email once orders have been collated). Although we are collecting this information, we will NOT be processing this. All information will be sent to 'Hansonopoly' who will charge your card and therefore also appear on your credit card statement. No. Your MOE magazines will be shipped in bulk from Hanson to Australia and distributed to you from Australia. Tanya (Fans From OZ staff member) will be receiving this order and will distribute them to you once they are received.
To cover the cost of shipping the MOE issues to you (once they are received in Australia) we will ask that when you send your payment, you include Australian postage stamps to cover the cost of postage. The cost is dependant on how many MOE's you are ordering and where they are being shipped to. Costs are as follows:
1 magazine: $1.45
2-3 magazines: $2.45
4 magazines: $4.20
5+ magazines: $7.90 for a parcel post bag.
We will only accept stamps as payment for postage.
We ask that you include a $5 donation with your order. This additional cost will cover the costs associated with getting the magazines into the country (the government charges GST on large shipments), the cost of buying envelops to distribute the magazines once they are received, and the cost of sending the order to the USA via International Express post. This cost may be lowered. It is dependent on how many fans order MOE. The more fans that order MOE, the lower this charge will be.
Please note that Hanson Fans From Oz is not making a profit from this bulk order! We realise how expensive it is to purchase MOE magazines and we want give as many Australian fans as possible the chance to order MOE.
The way we have designed the payment collection it is NOT possible for us to increase the price of MOE magazines and therefore profit from the order, as fans are paying hansonopoly directly. We do not process payments, we just collect payment on behalf of hansonopoly. Fans pay for postage by sending stamps with their order, which in turn saves fans the cost of having to get another money order. As stated above, the additional cost will help to cover the miscellaneous costs incurred by the Hanson Fans From Oz staff.
We will advise the order deadline shortly. Once we have collaborated the orders we will send out an email confirming your order & the number of MOE issues you wanted with details of where to send your payment. Once these have been collected, we will send them all to 'Hansonopoly'. We are hoping that these orders are processed and sent off to 'Hansonopoly' in time for the release of MOE 12, so that Australians receive MOE 12 around the same time as other Hanson fans. We will consider taking orders from NZ and various parts of Asia. Each request will be dealt with on an individual basis. Absolutely. BUT going by the previous order we placed, this shouldn't be a problem. We had over 200 magazines ordered in 2001. We will notify fans by email around the order deadline, informing them of where to send payment, postage costs and what's going to happen from there. If for some reason you decide to pull out, you could be the difference between us sending an order off or not, so please only SERIOUS requests! If you want to check out what's in each issue of MOE head on over to the MOE Archives at Hanson.net. At the moment we are only taking orders. No money is required yet. If you have decided that you would like to place an order for MOE, please email us email: fansfromoz@hotmail.com with your FULL NAME and the issues that you wish to purchase. We will be sending out another email to those who have placed orders for MOE issues shortly explaining where to send payment, postage costs and what's going to happen from there. Expect an email around the order deadline, June 1st.
